• LG Energy Solution joins hands with Jiangsu Women and Children’s Welfare Foundation to foster youth education in China.
• Expanding CSR efforts with fifth scholarship class and new public library in Gansu Province.

On September 15, 2025, LG Energy Solution joined hands with the Jiangsu Women and Children’s Welfare Foundation to bring the ‘Powering Positive Impact with Every Cell,’ public welfare scholarship to Dunhuang Art Tourism Secondary School in Jiuquan, Gansu Province, China. In celebration of its fifth year, the program is deepening its impact by building a new public library in Dunhuang. The program’s opening ceremony invited representatives of local government, the Jiangsu Women and Children’s Welfare Foundation, local women’s federation, and LG Energy Solution to share the power of youth education and community growth.

“The launch of the ‘Powering Positive Impact with Every Cell’ program has brought warmth and hope to the children of Dunhuang,” said Wang Jin, Secretary of the Dunhuang Municipal Committee. “It not only helps our young people grow in a healthy, well-rounded way, but also embodies a spirit that illuminates the future and warms the heart.”

“In just six years of partnership, we’ve moved beyond funding to plant seeds of care. From the shores of the East China Sea to the deserts of Northwest China, LG Energy Solution ensures every act of goodwill takes root and every child is seen, supported, and empowered,” said Song Xiaohui, Vice Chairwoman of the Jiangsu Women and Children’s Welfare Foundation. “More than an investment in education, this scholarship is a promise for the future. Every donation is hard-earned, and we will see to it that it is used well until every student has access to the wider world.”

Since 2019, LG Energy Solution and the Jiangsu Women and Children’s Welfare Foundation have jointly supported youth education by supplying scholarships and resources to students in need. So far, over 250 students have benefited from LG Energy Solution Chunlei Scholarship Classes.

Placing the healthy growth of children at the heart of its social responsibility efforts, LG Energy Solution is upgrading schools, dormitory facilities and library resources while offering scholarships to children from low-income families and vulnerable backgrounds, especially left-behind girls.
