Alliances can move industries forward in ways no single company can. With that in mind, LG Energy Solution Vertech has joined the U.S. Energy Storage Coalition, or USESC, as a founding member with Chief Product Officer Tristan Doherty playing a key role as an organization co-chair.
The USESC brings together leading grid battery manufacturers, energy storage developers, owners, and operators in the U.S. to advance policies and provide education on energy storage in the U.S. market. Its mission is to enhance grid reliability amid surging power demand, lower energy costs for all Americans, support new industrial and AI infrastructure, and boost U.S. manufacturing and mineral production.
Energy storage is critical to America’s power supply both today and in the years ahead. Leaders across America’s energy sector recognize energy storage’s importance and formed the USESC, an alliance to address pressing economic and national security issues. LG Energy Solution Vertech, a leading innovator in the battery space, has offered its expertise as a member, demonstrating the importance of collaboration – even among competitors – in overcoming challenges that are too big to face alone.
The industry continues to work alongside governments and regulators to tailor projects to each community. Representing America’s future energy storage project pipeline and grid battery manufacturing capacity, the new coalition is actively partnering with policymakers to address the biggest energy challenges of our time.
With over 30 leading companies building America’s energy storage projects and battery factories, the USESC unites developers, manufacturers, and innovators deploying the infrastructure that will power homes, factories, and data centers for the next generation.
