Building on decades of cross‑sector collaboration, LG Energy Solution is expanding partnerships with industry, academia, and startups to address key challenges and accelerate innovation in battery and energy technologies. In Poland, LG Energy Solution Wroclaw is leading by example, forging partnerships with top universities and technical institutions to nurture future talent and drive technological progress.

At WSB Merito University’s recent academic year inauguration, LG Energy Solution Wroclaw received the “Business Partner of the Year 2025” award for its ongoing commitment to academia. Over the past year, the company and the university have bridged education and industry through expert training sessions and webinars including “AI – Cybersecurity in the Manufacturing Industry,” consultations with professionals for students of Engineering Management, Logistics, and Management, and the #ChargeTheFuture internship, which provides hands-on experience in advanced manufacturing. HR Manager Joanna Moore accepted the award and highlighted LG Energy Solution’s drive to nurture young talent in Poland’s growing energy sector.

LG Energy Solution Wroclaw also celebrated the 80th anniversary of Wroclaw University of Science and Technology’s Faculties of Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. As long-standing partners, the company and the university work closely together on initiatives like the Electromobility Laboratory, linking academic expertise to industrial innovation.

During the jubilee gala, the company set up an information stand and hosted a lecture titled “Technical Cleanliness in the Automotive Industry: The Silent Hero of the Energy of Tomorrow,” delivered by Kamila Gosciniak-Wronkowska, Manager of the Module Line Improvement Department. The lecture sparked a deeper discussion on the evolution of modern technology and the role of industry-academia cooperation in shaping future innovation.

The special event marked eight decades of scientific and engineering progress while underscoring the importance of collaborations between academia and industry in unlocking the next revolutionary technologies. LG Energy Solution congratulated the university on its 80th anniversary and thanked them for their contributions to modern engineering education and technology development.

To date, LG Energy Solution Wroclaw has worked with Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Wroclaw University of Economics, WSB Merito University, the University of Wroclaw, and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. Collaborations include the co-financing of the Electromobility Laboratory at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology and the #ChargeTheFuture internship, which provides top students with training sessions, lectures, and plant tours. The next edition of the #ChargeTheFuture program is scheduled to further strengthen the bridge between academia and industry.

Building on these achievements, LG Energy Solution Wroclaw continues to strengthen its ties with Poland’s leading academic institutions, including Poznan University of Technology, Silesian University of Technology, Opole University of Technology. It also partners with regional technical schools.
