WINDSOR, ON – June 12, 2026 – NextStar Energy today hosted its first annual Charity Classic Golf Tournament at Ambassador Golf Club in Windsor, Ontario. The event brought team members together to raise funds for an organization chosen by employees: the Windsor Essex Children’s Aid Society. NextStar Energy employees raise $12,000 for the Windsor-Essex Children Aid Society, providing support for over 100 youth and foster families in the community.

More than 100 NextStar Energy employees attended the tournament and made donations, highlighting the company’s commitment to workplace culture, employee connection, and community impact.

NextStar Energy, now a wholly owned subsidiary of LG Energy Solution, began commercial cell production in November 2025 and reached a milestone one million cells produced in February. Most recently, the company celebrated its grand opening as Canada’s first and only commercial-scale battery manufacturing facility.
