On February 9, LG Energy Solution Wroclaw put words into action to enrich the local community by extending a helping hand to the Development and Activity Center for Children and Youth BOROMEO in Wroclaw, Poland. LG Energy Solution Wroclaw’s steadfast commitment to improving the children’s learning conditions underscores its belief in the transformative power of education, as it continues to pave the way to a brighter future for the children under the center’s care.

LG Energy Solution Wroclaw donated a refrigerator, dishwasher and laptops, not only providing the necessary resources to improve the center’s operation but also imbuing it with a renewed sense of hope and optimism.

Located in the parish of St. Charles Borromeo in Wroclaw, the youth center provides programs within a nurturing environment where children aged between 6 and 16 can engage in enriching activities outside of school. In fact, it has become an important hub for many families, supporting children whose families are going through hard times.

“Children come to our center, usually referred by the school counselor, to level up their studies and receive additional support outside of school hours,” said Natalia Nahajowska, director of the center. “We now support 12 children, providing them with a warm meal every day which is sometimes all they have to eat during the day.”

As the children eagerly unpacked their brand-new equipment, surrounded by volunteers and staff, the air was filled with excitement, joy, and anticipation. Ola, one of the center’s residents, expressed the sentiment shared by the others: “This community center feels like a family.” It became clear that this large donation was not just about improving the kids’ learning conditions; it was about fostering a sense of belonging and connection within the BOROMEO family.

“The young people are the future; our strategy is based on the motto: ‘we charge the future,’ and through such actions, we strive to help this future become better,” said Klaudia Piatek, PR/CSR Manager at LG Energy Solution Wroclaw. “We are also delighted to help our local families attain a better life by showing our support for such an important urban initiative not just through words but action, too.”
