The Hope College Picnic kicked off with a warm welcome address from Charles Hyun, President of LG Energy Solution Michigan, followed by a shared meal with hamburgers, hotdogs, and vegetarian options.
LG Energy Solution Michigan arranged numerous festivities for attendees to enjoy throughout the day, including raffles, face painting, balloon artists, inflatables, and carnival games. With loads of activities, and snacks like cotton candy and snow cones available, the picnic was an event filled with fun for the whole family.

The event provided employees with an excellent opportunity to spend quality time with their families and friends, creating a sense of belonging, encouraging positive thinking, and improving overall happiness.
LG Energy Solution Michigan is actively organizing events to promote the health and happiness of its employees. Monthly “Wellness Lunch & Learn” sessions provide an opportunity for employees to learn about wellness while enjoying their lunch. In July, employees participated in discussions about vitamin D activation in collaboration with Vibrant Health Coaching, engaging in unique activities to understand the importance of vitamin D.
Furthermore, LG Energy Solution Michigan designated September 2023 as “Wellness Month.” The Joyful Workplace Team prepared six mini events including two sessions of “Wellness Lunch & Learn,” a weekend wellness class, a wellness fair, and health screenings.
