For instance, LG Energy Solution Wroclaw recently participated in one of Europe’s largest automotive events, MotoClassic Wroclaw 2024. Meanwhile, LG Energy Solution Michigan rejoined forces with Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity to sponsor its Women Build event, an empowering initiative where women break the stereotype and pick up the tools to build homes for people in need.
LG Energy Solution Wroclaw: MotoClassic Wroclaw 2024
From August 24 to 25, MotoClassic Wroclaw 2024 delivered a memorable spectacle for car fanatics at the stunning Zamek Topacz in Lower Silesia, located near Wroclaw, Poland. Spanning 500,000 m² (5,381,955 ft²) this unique motor show featured over 600 vehicles and a 1.5-kilometer (0.9 mile) racing track that facilitated some thrilling high-speed battles.
This unique event had something for every car enthusiast, from classic cars that ooze class to new models that offer a window into the future of mobility. LG Energy Solution Wroclaw was honored to be asked to partake again this year, as it provides the opportunity to share its expertise and innovative ideas with attendees on a national stage.
During the show, experts from LG Energy Solution Wroclaw answered questions from attendees about the technologies and electromobility in general, demonstrating a high level of enthusiasm and curiosity among automotive enthusiasts.
LG Energy Solution Michigan: Women Build with Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity
On the other side of the Atlantic, LG Energy Solution Michigan has strengthened its local presence through a meaningful partnership with Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity, providing stable and affordable housing to low-income families in the area.
In 2022, the LG Energy Solution-sponsored Vista Green Project initiated the construction of 42 beautiful homes near its Michigan plant in support of the local community. And in 2023, several LG Energy Solution Michigan employees, along with a retired military veteran, worked side by side to build a new home for a much-deserving and appreciative Navy veteran.
This past August, as part of its ongoing sponsorship of Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity, the LG Energy Solution Michigan team took part in Women Build. Now in its 20th year, this internationally renowned event was arranged to empower women by equipping them with the skills and resources they need to construct robust, high-quality homes. LG Energy Solution Michigan contributed to the construction of a home located on 36th Street, as part of the Vista Green Development. Its team of volunteers was trusted with installing the drywall.
“We are forever grateful for the unwavering support LG Energy Solution has shown us over the last few years,” said a representative of Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity. “This partnership helps us empower more women with the opportunity to build new homes while offering greater support to local families through the creation of more affordable homes.”
