This winter, LG Energy Solution Michigan came together around several local efforts, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to community engagement. Seasonal involvement included serving as the title sponsor of LG Energy Solution’s Holland on Ice, along with supporting the Lansing Food Drive and Toys for Tots, creating moments of connection by bringing people together and giving back where it matters most.

Since 2023, the company has been part of LG Energy Solution’s Holland on Ice, a winter festival featuring a variety of activities, including live ice sculpting, interactive frozen attractions, and the Snowmelt 5K fun run. For younger participants, the Kids’ Mini Dash offered a fun and inclusive alternative to join the excitement.

During the event, professional carvers turned more than 10,000 pounds of ice into stunning sculptures from February 6 to 7, giving visitors an opportunity to admire and interact with the ice displays. Meanwhile, participants who completed the Snowmelt 5K fun run received a commemorative medal. Together, the activities brought warmth to the season with laughter, joy, and lasting winter memories.

Building on this spirit of community engagement, LG Energy Solution Michigan’s Lansing site organized a Lansing Food Drive in support of the Greater Lansing Food Bank (GLFB), a local organization that has worked to combat hunger across Central Michigan since 1981. GLFB serves seven counties spanning roughly 4,000 square miles, including Clare, Clinton, Eaton, Gratiot, Ingham, Isabella, and Shiawassee.

In support of this mission, employees at the Lansing site donated shelf-stable food items such as cooking oil, peanut butter, baby food and formula, pasta, rice, and canned foods, helping families and neighbors access nutritious food to strengthen their health and well-being.

Extending this commitment to supporting families beyond essential needs, the company also focused on bringing joy during the holiday season. Since 2019, LG Energy Solution Michigan has proudly supported the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots program, which collects and distributes new toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas.

For Christmas 2025, the Michigan team came together once again to spread holiday spirit throughout the community and deliver a message of hope. The collection focused on toys for children aged 9-12 this time, and many local families felt the impact thanks to those who helped to provide children with a bundle of gifts.

Giving back to the community is at the heart of LG Energy Solution’s corporate culture, backed by a long track record of initiatives that reflect sincere commitment. This winter, LG Energy Solution demonstrated how small, thoughtful actions can create meaningful change to brighten the holidays. Beyond seasonal support, ongoing efforts throughout the year include the Tulip Time Festival, local heritage festivals, Community Impact Day, donations to the fire and police departments, the Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity project, and blood drives.

By standing beside its communities with empathy and action, the company strengthens trust, deepens relationships, and reinforces its commitment to growing with local partners, creating impact that extends past the winter months. Looking ahead, LG Energy Solution remains focused on finding lasting ways to serve the communities it proudly calls home.
