LG Energy Solution Wroclaw Strengthens Industry Talent Pipeline Through #ChargeTheFuture Internship Program

  • LG Energy Solution Wroclaw launches the fourth edition of its #ChargeTheFuture internship program, offering students hands-on experience in battery manufacturing and electromobility.
  • Through internships and academic partnerships, the company supports the development of future engineers and specialists for Europe’s growing battery and energy industries.

The future of Europe’s battery industry will be shaped not only by technological innovation, but also by the talent driving it forward. LG Energy Solution Wroclaw is helping cultivate the next generation of battery and electromobility professionals through internships, educational initiatives, and hands-on industry experiences connected to real-world manufacturing.

As part of these efforts, LG Energy Solution Wroclaw is launching the fourth edition of its flagship #ChargeTheFuture internship program on July 16, 2026. The paid program will give 30 students the opportunity to work with engineers and industry specialists across production, maintenance, quality, logistics, traceability, ESG, and workplace safety at one of Europe’s largest EV battery manufacturing facilities.

Through #ChargeTheFuture, interns gain practical experience in manufacturing operations while developing both technical and professional skills. Activities include daily engineering and operational activities, individual projects, battery cell production line tours, and participation in the company’s “Energy of Tomorrow” competition, which explores future electromobility and energy technologies.

Since its launch, #ChargeTheFuture has become a key talent development initiative at LG Energy Solution Wroclaw. The third edition of the internship program concluded with a completion ceremony on September 30, 2025, celebrating the achievements of 25 participating students. Across its first three editions, a total of 123 students have completed the program, with some later joining the company as full-time engineers and specialists. The program is refined each year based on participant feedback, helping it stay relevant to students while reflecting the evolving needs of the industry.

“We want students to leave with more than just a line on their CV(curriculum vitae). We want them to see real work, observe engineers and specialists, support them daily, but also run their own projects and draw their own conclusions,” said Magdalena Pawłowska‑Kinas, Senior Recruitment Specialist at LG Energy Solution Wroclaw. “The job market is changing faster than ever. Asking yourself ‘Is this the place for me?’ is best done here – in the factory, in the team, in action. At the same time, we gain something valuable: the opportunity to meet people before they enter the job market and strengthen our workforce with new talent.”

Beyond hands-on industry experience, the program also reflects the company’s focus on transparency, fairness, and meaningful support for interns. “Transparency in our cooperation model is extremely important to us. Interns are paid for every hour worked, and the program gives them the opportunity to gain experience in areas essential to electromobility and new technology sectors,” said Joanna Moore, HRM Manager at LG Energy Solution Wroclaw.

The #ChargeTheFuture internship program is part of LG Energy Solution Wroclaw’s broader approach to talent development and industry-academia engagement. The company partners with universities and educational institutions on battery and electromobility-related initiatives, including strategic cooperation agreements, guest lectures, technical workshops, job fair participation, student research support, and other activities that build practical industry skills and foster future talent.

Through initiatives such as #ChargeTheFuture, LG Energy Solution Wroclaw continues to support the development of future professionals who will contribute to the growth of Europe’s battery, mobility, and energy industries.
