The future of mobility depends not only on breakthrough technologies, but also on the people who develop, manufacture, and advance them. LG Energy Solution supports this future by creating opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds to explore their potential in fields connected to the energy transition.
As part of these efforts, LG Energy Solution Wroclaw and NextStar Energy, the company’s battery manufacturing hub in Windsor, Ontario, recently hosted facility tours for women professionals and university students in partnership with local organizations and universities. The visits offered exposure to advanced battery production and the people driving the industry forward, giving participants valuable insight into the career paths available in the growing battery sector.
On May 20, 2026, LG Energy Solution Wroclaw welcomed ten female Korean Studies students from the University of Wroclaw to its technology park for an introduction to the battery industry. The tour continued the company’s longstanding collaboration with the university, which includes cultural and educational initiatives such as last year’s jointly organized Korean Day event.
The visit gave students a closer look at cell production, helped them learn how language and cultural expertise can support careers in global manufacturing, and provided information on internships and career opportunities. By seeing the facility’s scale and automated production process firsthand, students were able to explore how their academic skills and interests might contribute to the industry through a diverse range of potential career paths.

While the program in Poland introduced female university students to the wide range of opportunities available within the battery industry, NextStar Energy welcomed members of the Women in Mobility (WIM) group, a community organized by WEtech Alliance that supports women working across the mobility sector. Held on May 21, 2026, the tour provided participants with an in-depth look at one of North America’s most advanced battery manufacturing facilities and gave them a chance to connect directly with employees driving the future of electrification.
